何日か前にアルチュニアンの誕生日というトゥートを流したけれど、そのトランペット協奏曲の最近の演奏が流れてきたので聴いていたら。

第２楽章でソロトランペットに弱音器の指定があるのだけれど、この演奏では弱音器なし。足元に楽器スタンドはあるのに弱音器スタンドがないので、恐らくソリスト自身の判断で意図的に弱音器なしにした模様。かなり柔らかい音色を出すことが出来るプレーヤーなので、弱音器なしでも十分音色の変化を付けられる自信があるのだろう。面白い判断。

それにしても、最近裸足でステージに出るソリストが増えてきたのかな？
