ミュンヘンのマイリンガー通りにオルフの生家が残っており、記念プレートが設置されている。https://maps.app.goo.gl/DUEf8EJDhXu3fs6BA この地に1939年まで住んでいたということで、何と40過ぎまで生家で過ごし、あの「カルミナ・ブラーナ」もこの家に住んでいる間に作曲したことになる。著名な作曲家で活躍を始めて以降も生家に留まっていた例は意外に珍しい。

今日はグスタフ・マーラーの誕生日。1860年生まれ。

当時はボヘミアがオーストリア帝国領に属していたこともあり、「カリシュト」と呼ばれていた村で生まれている。現在はチェコ語の「カリシチェ（Kaliště）」という名前に変わっている。

ここに住んでいたのは生後数ヶ月程度だったらしい。その後父親が商売のために近くのイーグラウ（現在のイフラヴァ Jihlava）に移ったため、グスタフの幼少期の思い出はイーグラウでのもの。

ただ、生家は残っており、現在は小洒落たペンションに改装されている。
