Меня зовут Дмитрий Волков, я Head of Product Design в MANGO OFFICE.

Been reading more about the idea of AI as a team member & it got me thinking about what sort of team member they'd be.

They aren't proactive. They only do something when explicitly asked.

They aren't good at asking follow-up questions to help clarify what they're being asked.

When they come across an issue, instead of asking for help, they just brute-force-bullshit their way through the problem so they can deliver something and then leave it for others to fix things.

Are overconfident in their ability to do the work.

Think it's all about writing code instead of what value I'm trying to deliver.

Umm, that's a sort of team member I can do without, thank you very much.

A machine can match only what is programmed to check. A human sees the whole application.
And aside the comparison of screenshot, which has flaws, a machine does not really "sees" the visual output. Just the meta data that is sent to the graphic chip to create the visual output for the human.
Automate with care and keep humans in the loop.

The one thing I miss in public discussions of are team members (devs, testers, etc.) like me, who speak about their experience.
Those people's daily work is heavily influenced by the methods and frameworks, but they are seldom asked how they are about it.
And they have deep insights on the working level with the customer and product. Not assumptions from KPIs.

I see 99,9% consultants, managers, POs, scrum masters.
The experts of the work are unheard.
