ミュンヘンのマイリンガー通りにオルフの生家が残っており、記念プレートが設置されている。https://maps.app.goo.gl/DUEf8EJDhXu3fs6BA この地に1939年まで住んでいたということで、何と40過ぎまで生家で過ごし、あの「カルミナ・ブラーナ」もこの家に住んでいる間に作曲したことになる。著名な作曲家で活躍を始めて以降も生家に留まっていた例は意外に珍しい。
