Surprising that Brannan was against congestion pricing before it went into effect; I hadn't known that, and it makes me think a little less of Brannan's foresight and judgment.
Not great that Levine tried to make it sound like they disagree on whether the city should hold Israel bonds, when in fact they agree. If that was an error, it speaks to mental sharpness; if he was deliberately trying to deceive, that speaks to integrity.
So far Brannan has been less impressive to me - twisting Levine's words into smears, giving fewer numbers in his answers.
I do wish the debate moderators followed up and asked for specific answers when the candidates pivoted into broader answers.
boosting @THECITY :
TONIGHT: THE CITY, alongside NY1 and WNYC, will host the Democratic debate for candidates vying to be the city’s financial overseer.
Watch live, at 7 p.m., here:

And:
commitment to and residence in *this city*, New York City, as in, do you actually live here and have you lived here for several years recently? (relevant: https://gothamist.com/news/where-is-andrew-cuomo-living-the-nyc-mayoral-candidate-calls-luxury-midtown-apartment-home )
Still, I'm very glad the quiz helps surface things like:
#NYC issues I know little about
candidates I know little of
the possibility I am wrong about what preferences I believe I have (a topic on which I would like to consistently check and correct myself, even when it's embarrassing)

Wow, the kava bar in the East Village is closed and has a big Trump campaign flag in the window. That's a story I don't know if I want to know. (I wasn't on my way there.) #nyc

Mexican Navy tall ship #Cuauhtémoc collided with #BrooklynBridge a few hours ago:

Based on videos:
https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/national-international/videoboat-collides-brooklyn-bridge/3617132/
…it looks like the ship went under the bridge and then hit the shoreline here:
https://osm.org/go/Zct8EqDG?m=&relation=175905
Which means it was going *up river* when it hit the bridge.
That doesn't make sense, it was supposed to be leaving #NYC.
The videos also show it was going backwards. My guess would be loss of control?
