#NYC #theatre -goers : I saw Titanique last night and laughed harder than I have at a show in a long time. I actually saw the show off-off Broadway a few years back and it’s even funnier than I remember. Jim Parsons is having the time of his life, but all the cast - old and new - are great.

If you want to have some over-the-top camp fun I definitely recommend.

Whitman in Love is a beautiful presentation of 12 poems in Leaves of Grass, originally published among other poems, that Whitman wrote and identified as a statement on same-sex love. John Kevin Jones reads the poems interspersed with letters to, from, and about his lovers and would-be lovers (including Bram Stoker and Oscar Wilde). A high schooler started to testify, reading from a clear, cogent, pre-written speech. She was speaking pretty fast. There's a three-minute limit for each speaker.

The chair, Patrick Gaspard, broke in to say: I promise I will let you finish what you have to say. You don't have to race.

She apologized.

He said: no need to apologize. "You got this."

She continued, a little slower.

It was nice.
