In the age of coding agents in software development, we need to change the way we do our coding practice.
In workshops we used to have constraints to help us to learn something new.
This doesn't work anymore, agents are just "solving" it on the fly.
So we need to come up with constraints focused on coding agents, so that we can practice and learn new ways of working (with it).

@mrksdck Makes perfect sense 😊. Last year we had a #coderetreat with a mixture of „don‘t use AI“ and „use AI only“ constraints - was fun and delivered lots of insights. Up next is a dojo with AI coding katas, which hopefully yields some ideas for more specific AI constraints.

During SoCraTes Germany there was a discussion about what will be the future for coderetreats in the age of LLM?
We came up with the idea to create AI constraints for deliberate practice with AI.
The goal is not to finish the kata, but to practice and constraint yourself to do something new than usually.

A Flipchart that describes the rules if the contraint of ping pong in a pair programming session during a coderetreat. Driver writes test, test fails. Keyboard gets passed on to the next person. That person as driver implements to make the test pass. After that they write a failing test and pass on the keyboard.
