Cowardice avoids all of that.

It plays safe, protects the brand, and keeps shareholders calm.

That is the true currency of advancement in too many #American #power structures.

Executives are trained to bow early. They learn that protecting themselves secures promotions.

They learn that retreat gets labeled as “prudence” and earns applause. They learn that silence, delay, and submission produce stability in the eyes of boards and investors.

Courage does none of those things.
