there's a balance between talking too much about your personal life as an online influencer if you want to mostly keep your privacy, and also keeping your social media accounts active in lieu of having vtubing/influencer shit to actually post about. i feel like these and home grown memes are still a less toxic alternative to reposting and commenting on every single little thing that goes through the skyline, though.

if you do too much of that eventually people start getting confused about what it is you actually do, or why they should care about you. #xp

i wasn't the best student in college, adhd notwithstanding, but years later trying to force myself to take classes and learn at home is making me wonder what would have happened had I tried to take night classes or go to community college while working. i just feel drained after work. #xp

playing a game of "am i sober enough to stream" and "should i bother?"

it'll be coworking. i have a lot of things on the backlog and i have developed this weird glitch where i'm more likely to get something done if it's streamed.

it's weird and probably toxic but yknow. #xp

a red eye (1:1 beer and tomato juice) always picks up my mood for some reason.

especially if its dark beer or a stout.

at times, i feel like i'm treading water and instead of getting a flotation device, or making my way slowly toward land, i'm instead stopping every few feet to pick up some shiny object, maybe a knicknack or doodad floating around, or just beneath the waves.

the problem is, this happens often enough that i get to a point where i'm starting to sink from all the extra weight. so, in desperation, i let go of a bunch of the heaviest items- and then later, the smaller ones, so i'm at least back to having my nose and mouth above water, even if my ears aren't. and every now and then a wave rolls by, and i dip in the process, and have to come up for air again.

this keeps going and going, but i started noticing lately that i'm getting tired, and even treading water is starting to get harder to do. each time i sink, it feels like i'm sinking faster. and although i'm not holding onto as much, my body feels heavier.

land doesn't seem any closer either.

its a diy assembled air purifier

it took a little under 3 hours but i have constructed a Corsi-Rosenthal box. It may have cost far less than any commercial air purifier on the market, but the three hours of blissful DIY and using that rare smattering of remembered math to complete it was far more valuable. #xp

Thinking about streaming myself watching my old DnD vods so i can:

1) Study them for ways I can improve as a DM while cringing at myself,

2) Relearn what all happened during those sessions in preparation for the return of the campaign, and

3) Rebroadcast them for people who haven't seen them. #xp

As a bonus, I figure I could also use that time as an excuse to mark clippable moments so I can manually cut those up in Davinci Resolve and then upload them to twitch/youtube etc.
