She's visiting me for the second time. This time I managed to get a bag of 'tempations' with chicken and cheese.

She enjoyed them, but also seem very peculiar/dominant. When I showed her a temptation and put it near a window, hoping she would jump to it, she started growling and hissing. As soon as I handed the treat near her mouth this stopped. 😱😂

First it was some talent company from Hollywood, now it's Yves Saint Laurent.

Perhaps I should just play along. 🙃

I paid quite some $$$ last year for the Pixel 10 Pro 256 GB and I refuse to be artificially limited by Google in regard to new features.

Hurray to all hackers and modders out there who allow me to use the Rambler feature in Gboard by 30 mins of tinkering.

It now works flawlessly on my Pixel 10 Pro.

I just made a working remote control for my NAD 7050 Amp, since the manual remote never really worked properly and the NAD app was flaky as hell.

So basically I can now control it now through a web interface in my Pixel or other device. Very convenient and it only took me (erm.. AI) one hour.

Super satisfied!🤩

Having to go through 1000's of releases/promos a week, it feels like a HUGE reward to come across a true gem like this, released on the infamous Ajuna label.

Those haunting vocals, the build up, the vibe, it's all done so well.
I haven't mad up my mind yet if the UNKLE or Proff remix is my favourite interpretation of the original song.

I really wish I could upgrade the 4 TB SSD on my Mac Mini server to a 8 TB one. But at current pricing the cheapest that I can find is 1000 €.

I refuse to use my cold storage harddrives as active drives, so I guess I'm going to have to put myself on a digital diet.🙄

I'm happy to report that MacOS 27 Golden Gate seems to run stable 24/7 on my Mac Mini M4 server. However there's not a lot installed on there.

I have decided not to upgrade my production machine YET. There's limited information available about audio plugin compatibility. Moreover Ableton Live doesn't seem to be officially supported yet.
Adobe Lightroom Classic/CS seem to have contrasting user experiences.

Software Update screen in MacOS showing 'preparing MacOS 27'

Looking forward to today's release o MacOS 27 Golden Gate. I honestly haven't been this excited about a new MacOS update for over a decade and I am considering a day 1 upgrade over my current Mac OS 15.7.9 Sequoia installation.

I have been testing Golden Gate earlier on an old Macbook Air M1 and it felt very polished, efficient. While I hated Tahoe and therefore never upgraded to it, I think Liquid Glass has been improved to the point that I'm ready to embrace it.

This week besides completely overhauling my home and my studio desk, I have also updated and edited my LinkedIn account. I no longer have it focused mainly on my musical activities, but I changed the focus to web projects and AI.

I also responded to two projects and I am hoping they will pick me. It involves designing a newsletter, not just graphically, but with a complete content strategy. Sounds like a good project to get back into the game.

I'd be happy to receive Canada as an EU member eventually. Our continent has a lot in common with Canada, especially culturally and in regard to societal values.
Moreover as a Dutch person I am still very grateful for what Canada did for us during the world war III.

So Canada, please come and join us in the EU and benefit from each other economically, besides culturally. 🧡
