A different kind of Horror. A Micro Time Travel Halloween Music Story. CW death blood bad humor [SENSITIVE CONTENT]

Sometime in the long gone past.
With a "Zzoush" the time traveler appeared over Beethoven & fell down, killing the great mastermind.

The traveler stood up & screamed in panic, trying to save him but the damage was done.
Beethoven hung over a blood splattered sheet & barely legible was a '5.'
          "FORK!"
They couldn't just prevent them self from time traveling, if they met them self the universe would fold in on itself.
Their was only one way to limit the damage to the timeline. A fake farewell letter & finishing the piece from memory, a memory that already began rewriting itself according to the decisions made...

Sometime in the future at a classical concert.
"We will now play the last piece of a great master that made him go mad.
Please enjoy with us, chm... Lou Begahovens Mambo No. 5.

Does anyone in Toronto (downtown) know of anyone who teaches kids to play the Gu Zheng?

All I've got are people out in Markham and Scarborough. That's impossible for me. My kids have taken a huge interest in the instrument. I do own one. I think its time to get them proper lessons.

If anyone has a lead, I would super appreciate it.

Here's a link to the instrument in case that helps: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guzheng

I'm a bit behind on the Mathtober prompts, but I'll catch up. Maybe. Yesterday's prompt was "Notation".

I decided to play with musical notation, in today's drawing. It's been a long time since I've written any kind of musical notation by hand, but it felt like a conversation with an old friend.

For today's drawing, I felt like drawing little notes on a curve. These little notes are so fun for me to draw, and I needed a little extra joy today.

I also managed to draw some penguins that are not only cute, but show a hint of being angry.

Sometimes if I suspect that I’m being overconfident about an orchestra part, I find a video of the piece and have a practise session playing along. And often find that indeed I fall apart, which gives renewed motivation for practise. 😁

But every now and then the happy discovery is that I can actually play along just fine, like today. Just a couple bars that need some cleaning up. Just as well, Danse Macabre still needs a LOT of work.

and is a classic Discharge song, from Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing (1982).

In my personal opinion - this song was severely under-recognized because it was deemed - not radio friendly. So we got soft, weakass, commercial metal & had to hunt for better metal that wasn't played to mass audience ears. It's fucking better than weakass commercialized metal 👊

THE ROAD OF IRON (... the railway) by Charles Alkan but make it JRPG Steampunk Metal Dungeon

an "oops, all evils" take on one of the most comically overtly-impossible-to-actually-play pieces ever published apparently not as a joke. Alkan was just Like That. (It starts at half-tempo from his original! HALF!)

Alt...Le Chemin de Fer by Charles Alkan, in a chiptune video game style to suggest a mechanical deathtrap dungeon.
