@deborahh I have no special talent and in particular very little technical training or awareness, and at least to me my limitations are loud and clear in most music I make. On the flip side, I have what my teacher told me when I last had a teacher oh, 16 years ago. He said, talking about a larger Medtner work I spent two years on, “You love this music, and the way you play it, you give other people a chance to love it too.” What a gift that was.
