    First played this piece 3 years ago for my parents’ 50th. No music better embodies love, perseverance, and dedication than Medtner’s.

    Medtner is a crafter and a systems thinker. His designs cohere form, structure, and seemingly small details by bringing extraordinary technical facility to a process of iterative discovery. The music reveals itself to him bit by bit until it’s finally what it has to be. We win.

      Hard drive died. Oh well. this was just a practice machine for reviving my MacPro1,1 (also 32-bit EFI with 64-bit other stuff) back home.
