John, my friend from Bowling Green, is in town to meet with the CWRU dean I spoke with about readmission. Apparently he is after the same thing. It'd be nice to have him back in town. He brought a pile of computer stuff for me — a Sparc IPC, a Mac LCII, and several drive cases and large Sun color monitors — and we worked out a nice deal. Some of the stuff is for Frank and Eric, and the rest is for me! me! me! I love computers.

John's front left tire went flat while we were moving the stuff into my room. We enlisted the help of Rachel (Neal's wife) and went out to fix it. Mainly John fixed it himself, with a few tips from Rachel and moral support and baby-distracting from me. When we finished, John and Frank and I started walking to Arabica to see Ken and Gabe and the rest of their a cappella octet Speakeasy. We were too late. It was already over. Speakeasy has some new members this year and I really wanted to hear how they sounded. Oh well, I'll get 'em next time.
