Went live with the Children's Museum site this morning. Matt had brought one of our SGI Visual Workstations with flat panel display from the office for the demo, but for some reason it wouldn't give us a link light on the network. At the last minute, we tried my laptop and it worked. We stuck a monitor on it and the demo went on at the allotted time. The kids loved it. If the kids are happy, the museum is happy, and we're happy!
The 64MB of RAM for my Quadra arrived. Yippee! Can't believe I spent less than $100 on it. For those of you complaining about high RAM prices these days, try to remember how expensive it used to be.
Adam bought a hub so we can finally put the CWRU Triumph G3 up on the network. Still waiting for CWRU to snag us an office.
Made omelets for John, Ron, James, Andrew, and myself. Into an Amitai Omelet go fresh bacon, sharp Wisconsin cheddar, and a touch of zangy Parmesan. Everyone loves my omelets. What can I say? I can cook eggs. Ron put a dash of pepper and some garlic powder on his, and I must say it was darn tasty. Hungry yet?
