Bowling is a great American pastime. We went to Madison Square Lanes on the west side of Cleveland. When we went over the summer, games on Sunday were $1 apiece, and there were no computers to be found anywhere. Now they have the most advanced computers I've seen at an alley, and Sunday games are $1.50. The place still has only 16 lanes. If the food were cheap, it would be perfect and we'd go there all the time. As is, it's still a pretty good deal: I rented a pair of shoes and bowled five games for under $10.
Thanks to the judicious application of napping, I am well rested and prepared for a long day tomorrow. Since CWRU is out of session for fall break, I'm working full days Monday and Tuesday. Monday, in fact, will be more than a full day: Bill and I will be upgrading an NT server at the Children's Museum starting in the late afternoon, and this will take us well into the evening. I am hoping the time I put in will allow me to take Saturday off and join the CWRU Ultimate team on a weekend trip to Rochester, New York for a tournament. Two years ago, when I was a CWRU freshman, I missed this tournament due to having been violently ill. Last year, I was not enrolled at CWRU (working full-time at OhioOnline!) and did not play with the team. This year, I'd like to get to Rochester. I hear it's a fun one. Also, I haven't been to a tournament in over a year (!).
