I was going to start lifting weights next Tuesday, but I decided to start today. Why put it off when you can do it now? My parents will surely be happy to read that last sentence, as it encapsulates my slow march toward maturity. I have learned to save energy by procrastinating less.

CWRU's new president, David Auston, was inaugurated today. I checked out the post-ceremony celebration and ran into my friend Sarah, who apparently had sung the CWRU alma mater solo! We talked for a while and she ended up foiling my evening plans (clean the room to prepare for imminent parent arrival) by inviting me for dinner. We had chili, sushi, sweet peas, and some powerfully crusty bread. Since we were too full to finish the sushi, we watched one of my favorite movies, Good Will Hunting. Unfortunately, neither of us gained any stomach space during the duration of the film.
