Schmoozing around, popping items off my reading stack, watching the Bears almost make a game out of it before losing to the Lions, playing the piano, etc.
The big Thanksgiving dinner featured attendees Michele (aunt) and Rachel (cousin), Frieda (cousin) and caretaker, Grace (grandmother), Dianne (mother), Uriel (father), Sheira (sister), and Amitai (self). Food was highly ingestible.
After dinner, I went to see Peter. We geeked around a bit, then asked each other questions from the 1982 edition of Trivial Pursuit. Back in the day, Peter and I were star members of the Highland Park High School Scholastic Bowl team. Way back in the day, at our respective junior high schools, we were star players of the cheesy local-cable game show “Answer Please”. But neither of us was significantly conscious of trivia at age 3 or below, which is how old we were when this particular edition of Trivial Pursuit was purchased. One wonders whether there are criteria which can be applied to prospective questions to determine whether they will hold up in the long run. Certainly, if there are and they are being used at the factory, a fair number slipped through in 1982.
I conked out on Pete's couch and went to sleep.
