I arose much too early. When Kacy woke up, she expressed heartfelt remorse at having burdened her cohorts with the previous night's subpar intellectual performance. You only get once chance to make a first impression, as they say, but if you don't do as well as you want to the first time, you can only surprise people. I immediately noticed her markedly improved ability to hold intelligent conversation. We discussed music, the various disappointments of CWRU and our ideal university experience, and miscellaneous other aspects of life. This was cut short by the realization that a) we were both very, very tired, and b) she had to get home to practice before her flute lesson. Which was for the best, because I would have made a poor first impression by falling asleep while talking.

I futzed around some more with Apache. It is a fantastic Web server that makes it possible to do just about anything Web-related. I configured it as a reverse proxy for my personal MP3 archive. This was amazingly easy: just two directives, documented clearly in the mod_proxy directive listing. Apache rocks.

Thanks to PHP, it was amazingly easy to switch over to the new design (in progress). There are some problems with the tables, but they will be solved in due time. PHP rocks.

Dolan and I had dinner at Hunan Coventry, one of several Coventry restaurants I've somehow managed to avoid despite having lived nearby for two years. I'd intended to discuss a specific topic in depth, but we ended up just having a regular dinner conversation interspersed with a question whenever I thought of one (total: around four). So it was nice and relaxed, yet informative and reassuring. Worked out even better than I had hoped.
