Went in early this morning to set things up for OhioOnline's annual kickoff meeting. This proved difficult because no instructions had been left on what to set up (in the end, just a small projector). The meeting was markedly less interesting than last year's, which was held at the Ritz-Carlton (I have a pencil to prove it!). On the plus side, it was also markedly less lengthy than last year's; I might even call it “focused”. Based on the food catered from Ciao Cucina, I am no longer very interested in eating at that restaurant.
In another food-related downer, David and I ventured forth to A Cappella, a restaurant within the confines of the B.F. Keith Building, and were disappointed. None of the appetizers I wanted were actually available, David's meal was tiny, and mine was ordinary. If the fare were decent, the sheer convenience of the location would make this a common lunch spot for us. But it is not to be. At least we gave it a shot.
On the bright side, I wrote about 75% of a Web-based journal editor. It needs some serious error-checking and code cleanup, but it works!
