Way behind on journal entries, I put lots of things I wrote in high school on schmonz.com to at least increase the total amount of personal writing. This is something I'd intended to do anyway.
David has moved his site to Verio for what looks to be decent FreeBSD hosting, and a chance to make some money too. Kiersten's site is still on my little NetBSD box.
Trying to get some fresh air in my rusty throat and lungs, went to outdoor Ultimate practice with Frank and pledge Rick. It didn't work too well. In the words of Kirsch, “I feel like poop.”
Tonight was my favorite fraternity ceremony: candling. Quite simply, anyone with something on his mind walks to the front of the room and speaks. I feel closest to my brothers during this ceremony because many of them speak intimately of themselves, something many of them don't ordinarily do. Afterward, Hank and Shawn crawled into the apparently roomy trunk of Steve's car, some more of us into the regular passenger areas, and we went to Chuck's Diner. Another car also came along. General silliness ensued, as occurs with 12 guys in a late-night diner. On the way back, Hank and Shawn climbed in again, and Jackal joined them! Three full-grown (except for Jackal) adults in the trunk of a modern family sedan! We should submit a commercial to Toyota.
Hank and I engaged in full punnery. I should post our repartee (it's saved). Puns are painful, but good ones are worth the trouble.
