I gave up on getting SSH to work under Unix and installed Windows NT Workstation and Tera Term SSH. This works, mostly. I frequently get “invalid packet checksum” errors and lose the connection, which is pretty annoying, but not as annoying as not being able to SSH at all. Maybe.

Met Pete at Arlington, picked up man-burgers from Eagles and some beer from the place with the policemen waiting outside, and sat on the front stoop with Seth and James and enjoyed the food, drink, weather, and geek pride. I think it might be worthwhile to register the domain name “dotat.at” just so that I can have the email address “atdot@dotat.at” (say it aloud).
