Got in nice and early, just after 7AM. Woo!
The development team met to plan our angle of attack for the summer. Intern Alexey started today.
Lunch at A Street with Brendan and Brian. Brendan failed at the roast beef dinner. Brian challenged me to the Steak Bomb. I accepted and purchased it for later consumption. I ended up eating it at 3PM, not much later.
We now have an intranet, thanks to some initiative on the part of Pedro. It's something I started to set up previously, but when he presented me with a list of all employees' addresses and phone numbers, I got cracking.
I went home early enough to pay June rent (”a bit late”, says the lady — no, it's a lot late!), do laundry, and sweat.
It's been a year since I started keeping a journal. It's been a challenge to find the time and make the effort to write carefully and meaningfully about my life every day. More often than not, of late, I haven't been able to do it every day. This needs to be fixed. I have started designing a simple journal-editing Web application that, when complete, will make the job of writing as simple — but, unfortunately, still as complex — as translating my thoughts into words. Until then, I have to do a bit of extra work that makes entering entries a bit harder than it already is. I thank you for your continued patience, and I hope that what I manage to write reads rewardingly enough to deserve your interest.
