I've had my iPod for a week. It hasn't yet stopped blowing my mind.
My dad, whose brain hinges tightly shut when placed in proximity to modern technologies, figured it out within a few minutes and was humming along to Brahms. This in itself is amazing.
Shortly thereafter, still within hours of having purchased the iPod, I used it to solve a seemingly unrelated problem: I was on vacation, and my digital camera was almost full! I wanted to keep the photos, but I also wanted to free up the camera to take more vacation pictures. So I connected the camera and iPod to my mom's iMac, and told the computer to treat them as disks. They came up on the desktop; I copied the photos from the camera to the iPod (which has a lot more storage space) and emptied the camera. Ta da! When I got home I just copied the photos from the iPod to my computer. Ain't no thang.
I want Steve Jobs to be the father of my children.
