I was treated to a surprise birthday party! My girlfriend Christina set it all up: she told me we'd be doing something fun Friday night after work with Gabe (one of my best friends) and his girlfriend Sophia. At 5PM they showed up at our office, and we gave them a guided tour. Little did I realize that while we were in the other part of the building, several of my coworkers were surreptitiously leaving our part of the building to get to the secret destination. Naturally, I didn't even notice they had left, because it was a normal time for them to have left work on a Friday, and I'm not too bright anyway.

So we drove for a while and then turned into a very familiar parking lot, one that I had seen several times before with my fraternity: Whirlyball. I love Whirlyball, but I was confused how we were going to play with 4 people, because a game requires 10 players. My confusion was ameliorated upon entrance to the facility when I saw Frank, Bailey, Adam, Henry, Doug, Nathan, and David.

Absolutely amazing.
