I've lost 30 pounds in the last 4 months. I was not inspired by this song in any way. (If you are not familiar with the music of Wesley Willis, follow the link and learn up.)
I haven't gotten a haircut since January 2001, when I shaved my head with a Bic. Now it's down past my shoulders, which is less than a lot of people have but more than I am accustomed to, and I'm considering getting it cut. I want to keep 3-4 inches, I think, because that's enough for it to get curly, which my girlfriend and I agree doesn't look very stupid (historical example).

Job-related news
Unemployment is fun but my life (especially rent) is expensive. If a computerish job doesn't turn up soon, I'll have to get a non-computerish one. I'd like to lead an inexpensive life someday. If I have enough savings (O irony!) by summer, I'll fake it by biking around the country for a few months; if not, it'll have to wait.
