Boston was relaxing. I spent most of it with the family. The only exceptions: Saturday lunch with a couple friends of Henry's, dinner with a high school friend (now writing for the Concord, N.H. Monitor), and candlepin bowling and dinner Sunday with Seth and James.
In the trip's interstices I finished reading “The World According to Garp”, which didn't do much for me, though I admit (like Jillsy Sloper) that I kept wanting to find out what happens next.
