Back from a brief respite at the local Settle Inn. We had a bit of trouble finding it because the person who answered our call directed us away from the hotel toward downtown Kaukauna instead of toward US-41 just the other way. But we got some good rest and shower, cleaned up Hank's car a bit (and got a promissory note for a sorely needed carwash), purchased some hot food from Arby's and a bunch of hot coffees (one of which I drained wid a record quickness upon arrival at the library), and finally some locally produced cheeses and meats.
As a state, Wisconsin lives well. Everybody's friendly, and there's plenty of fresh cheese, sausage, and beer for anyone who drops by or passes through.
