I am a non-voter and proud of it.

This country's elections are a farce. Voting for any of the candidates presumes I agree that the positions they're running for should exist. It also presumes that it's possible for any of the right people to even wind up as candidates. It also presumes that our government is salvageable if we can just put the right people in the right spots. I lean pretty strongly against all of these presumptions.

This country is in a fine mess. (Politics is more an effect than a cause.) On our current course, it'll be in a fine mess for the foreseeable future, no matter who runs which aspects of the show during which years. I'd rather not participate in the farce.

It's not a legitimate process. I don't accept any responsibility to help it look like one.
