At 2:45 AM Central, I'll be 26. Where does the time go? It goes into experiences, which if you're smart and pay careful attention, some of which congeal into wisdom. I hope by the time I'm 27 I'll have some of that. Just kidding, I've already got a bit.
Fun celebration tonight for Adam (same day, a year older) and me: dinner at Rock Bottom Brewery with Ken, Eugene, Sarah, Adam, Eliza, Abby, Frank, and Rowan (the event organizer), followed by the second half of the Cavs game wherein the Raptors were never close. Good seats — $15 to sit in the corner, 10 rows up. “Tractor” Traylor is a beast of a man. LeBron, the Phantom of the Hoopera, had a relatively quiet game. Z was announced as an All-Star today. The ball is a toy in his hand. All these guys look like they could cover the length of the floor in maybe 15 steps.
Adam and Abby are moving to Monterey, CA by car, departing next Monday.
Adam has room in his car for a passenger. I will be that passenger.
I have a whole lot to do before I go!
Touristy recommendations for Monterey, San Francisco, Seattle, and anywhere in between are most welcome.
