I'll be in Europe May 4 - June 27, flying into and out of Dublin to ensure that I spend at least a few days in the British Isles before returning to the States. The connecting flight to Prague, via London-Stansted, has been purchased as well. (What's in Prague? A technical conference, where I'm giving a pair of talks because I'm a nerd. I went to last year's conference in Vienna, too.) How I fill my seven-odd weeks, and how I wind up in Dublin in time for my return flight, are excitingly T.B.D.! I have some rough sketches of itineraries. Further research is needed.

I love my lifestyle of the past several months. If you do something that'd let you get by as an independent consultant, build up some savings and try it. Especially if you like to travel. I'm somewhat surprised to see how easily I've become a traveling fool. I've got opportunities I haven't had before and I'm free to take them. It's great. People like to have me touch their computers, and what they consider a bargain I consider a generous income. This means I can work as much or as little as I want, eat well, live indoors, and get lost on another continent for a couple months when the mood strikes. I'm lucky as hell and you bet I recognize and appreciate it.

Icing on the cake would be getting accepted to college. I'll know within the next couple weeks which coast I'll head to when I get back: east for school, otherwise west.
