My daily project — to play one piano piece as well as I can quickly learn it — is into its third month. Each recording is generally no worse than “meh”. Most of them are better than that. The YouTube playlist has over 60 small pieces adding up to over 2.5 hours of music. The incremental efforts continue.

As of last week I have a desk again. One of these days I may be able to stream myself doing some live coding for the first time in over half a year.

Thinking about full-time employment, the idea continues to please me while the practicalities continue to elude me. In the meantime, consulting is once again possible, and some possibilities have arisen. I’m predictably excited at the prospect of having professional conversations with grown adults and being remunerated for the privilege.
