Why this package

This package runs all rc.conf-enabled rc.d scripts at boot time as one “service” in your operating system’s normal boot process.

Without this package

To configure pkgsrc-installed services to be started and stopped, follow the instructions specific to your operating system’s boot sequence.

With this package

Configure pkgsrc-installed services in /etc/rc.conf just as you would on NetBSD.

Get this package

Binary

# pkgin -y install rc.d-boot

Source

$ cd /usr/pkgsrc/sysutils/rc.d-boot
$ make install

(Developed in pkgsrc, and sometimes offline with git.)
