Atkins Day 14. The Induction phase of the diet (where the goal is zero carbohydrates) is over. I went to the Diamondback Brewery for lunch with Glenn, Tom, Patrick, and Greg. I ordered a salad for the first time in two weeks — which, as I discovered when I reread the relevant sections of the Atkins book, was something I could have been eating every day. Oops. I still feel good, and now I will definitely be eating my share of salads. The waitress opined that I didn't look like I needed to be on a diet. That was the best encouragement I could possibly have gotten.

Glenn and I played a game of pool while waiting for the food to come. He nearly stole the game from me, but choked on the 8 ball. It is only reasonable that he he would lose a college boy's game to a college boy.

Home network shaping up.

Busy weekend on the way. Homework, errands, an article to write, and work to do. Never a dull moment. What a life!
