At his request, I went to see my old advisor, Dr. Michael Bell of the CWRU music department. He was surprised to have received my midterm grade report, probably because I had not informed him of my return to school. I briefed him on my progress while he nodded vigorously, perhaps more than was technically necessary.

Before I installed a prerelease snapshot of OpenBSD 2.6 on my home Web server, I backed up important data and configuration files. When I do this sort of thing, I always keep the backup, but I tend to take my sweet time getting around to restoring things to the way they were before the reinstall. Well, I finally got my CVS code repository and Web pages restored to full working state on the server.

Homework. Sleep.
