Chatted online with Bill, my manager when I was with OhioOnline. He is doing well there and has recently become a partner in the company. Congratulations, Bill! Then, chatted with Kelzie for a nice long time about music, movies, etc. It's nice to be able to “talk” with people without concern for where they are. As a matter of course, I chat several times per week with friends from high school. The Internet has made this very easy. Email is less formal and more expediently sent than paper mail, and publishing a basic Web site is simple (to wit, this one). I am glad of this technology because I don't think I would do a good job of keeping in touch without it.

Speaking of publishing Web sites, I made a couple of minor stylistic changes to schmonz.com and added a box to look up words in an online dictionary. This should help those who claim to have difficulty understanding some of the less prosaic words I use.
