NetBSD is installed, and it outputs no errors on boot. This is a plus! It appears to grok my hardware better than OpenBSD. I installed cvs (included with OpenBSD, but not with the minimalist NetBSD) and built a kernel with support for /dev/random (in the default OpenBSD kernel, but not in NetBSD's) in order to run OpenSSH.

Hit up BS&G with DJ, Raj, and Tom, pals from the OhioOnline era. It's great to hang with them and hear how things are going. I marginally increased my Crazy Taxi high score with a showing of $4877, but still couldn't break $5K.

Piano improvisation is in a rut. This usually means “don't play for a while”. I'll try.

Zuck dropped by with some time on his hands. After partially synchronizing ourselves, we went to Wal-Mart. I found some nice crusty overalls and two nifty hats: a fedora of sorts, and a fisherman's hat. I sure do love hats. Notably missing from my collection: a beret.

Wendy had borrowed shoes from Kacy for formal, and left one somewhere in my room. Kacy and Vicky came over to help search for it. It quickly became unmisplaced. Then, Kacy and I played a simple drinking game, wherein every time she rang the bell (the same bell used to torment pledge Steve), I took a drink. Some game.

Went bowling at the semi-quaint Madison Square Lanes with G-Nate, Hank, Dolan, Gabe, et al. Bowling is grand. We had fun bantering with the drunken folks in the adjacent lane, one of whom was a second-grade teacher at a Catholic school. On the way back, a few of us stopped briefly at Jon and Dave's party to word them up. We were too late to participate meaningfully, but others clearly had been plenty early, if you know what I mean. Eh? Eh? Wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more? Well, nothing like that at all. Prevert.
