Down the stairs and down the block, the A Street Diner (so called because it is located on A Street — no kidding!) serves up a cheap ham and cheese omelet with toast and big chunks of potato-flavored potato. Pretty good breakfast deal!

Attempted to familiarize myself with the code and databases of the system. They are not particularly easy to follow for the same reason that they are not particularly easy to maintain: the Jolt started small and became big, and the software was not designed for this. It will take me some time to get my head around the system well enough to start improving it.

On a more immediate note, schmonz.com is back up. It's on a server running a non-BSD operating system, so a couple things are broken (feedback form and Roman numeral hit counter), but most of it works well enough for the time being.

Went home and slept for a long, long time. I haven't seen Rami and Aya in a couple days.
