I showered for the first time since Wednesday. Hey, I was too busy to care. Thank goodness you can't smell over the Internet. Unless maybe there's a browser plugin I don't know about.

Always looking for a good Thai restaurant, I pushed for lunch at the Bangkok Bistro in Cleveland Circle. I had the duckiest duck dish available (which was still not as ducky as I prefer) and some goshdarn good Thai iced tea. The restaurant was quite passable except that their ice cream is not available at lunch. The hunt will continue.

We went back to the house to brainstorm a shopping list and have Seth drive us to Star Market. We bought a large amount of stuff, Communist-style: each of us paid one fifth of the total, regardless of whether the specific items purchased were of personal value. It felt somewhat uncomfortable to me. Next time I'll buy my own food, if I can help it.

Smacked around a wiffle ball in the street with Seth and Peter. Not quite as spacious a ballpark as the owners of the ubiquitous parked cars might like. We need a grassy area more convenient to the house.

We had dinner at Presto Pizzeria in the Circle. They grilled the chicken expressly for my sub, tasty and big. Then we rented Three Kings from Blockbuster (who is not currently on my Christmas list, nor I on theirs), but having already seen it, and needing to go to work tomorrow, I opted out.

Pete is not only not on my summer league Ultimate team, but not on any team. He's on the waiting list. We'll see how it turns out.
